Sean Coetzee - partner and director - has over 30 years’ experience in the financial industry. He has traded across all asset classes: Equities, Derivatives, FX-currencies, CFD's and Commodities. He is the Key Individual on Khwezi’s licence and having traded on the JSE open outcry exchange, is a registered trader at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, as well as at SAFEX. He is also a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM) and has his Financial Services Board (FSB) exams RE1, RE3 & RE5.
In 2014, Mark Wurr joined as a partner and director and together they have expanded Khwezi Financial Services and created three new divisions - Khwezi Trade, Khwezi FX and Khwezi Asset Management.
Mark has over 27 years’ experience in the financial industry he started in Derivatives in 1991, working on the London Metal Exchange. He then traded at RMB and Glencore, going on to co-found Global Trader 247 in 2000. Since then he has been very actively involved in the South African online Derivative/CFD trading business. He has a B.Com Finance degree and is a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM) and has his Financial Services Board (FSB) exams RE1 & RE5.
